Interview
Interviewing AZALIA:
Round 1:
1 What is the underlying point of the project?
To show the art of dance and the meaningful message behind it.
2 What influenced you to begin this project?
My love for dance and the way it makes you feel. Many people I'm surrounded by love to dance and do it well, not only for fun but because it's their passion.
3 Where are you getting your resources from?
I'm getting random resources from the Internet on the history of different dances. I'm also getting resources from interviewees that I will be interviewing.
4. How do you feel about where the project has gotten so far?
I feel the project is moving very slowly because of lack of effort and amount of steps at the moment, but when the project is near ending I feel it will move very smoothly.
ROUND 2:
1. The goals that you have set for yourself so far, how well would you say you've progressed in making them a possibility?
I have made some progress, my my goals will definitely be completed over the expected time.
2. Has the main idea for your project shifted since you've started actually putting the pieces together?
No, Since i began I had a clear idea of what the main idea of the project was.
3. What can we expect to see of your project after this very long break coming up?
You can expect to see the history of the dances completed and some sort of nararration voice over.

Goals Reflection
The goals that I needed to meet for this week was slightly met. Me and my partner Sylvia split up the work to do research on three dances each. The dances I were responsible for were Krumping, Dancehall and the Waltz. I completed 1/3. Another goal was finding dancers to interview. I was sucessfull and found two male dancers to interview.
I want to continue with these goals for next week and add more.

Self -Assessment Inventory
The best environment for my learning would be at my home where I'm more relaxed and have a more sense of focus. I choose to study at home because I can stay focused on whats important without much distractions. I also choose to work creatively in my home, because there's more space and time to use my imagination to its full advantage. I work well with others that are on the same page and pace as me, but at times it can be difficult to come to an equal agreement on topics. I like learning by both listening and looking. My talents with working would be writing and organizing. I always double or triple check what ever I complete to make sure everything is the way its sopose to be.

Project Proposal
I plan to present a documentary on dance. It's going to be about the evolution of dance and how it has evolved over the years. The main point being made in this documentary is to show tha dance is not just another hobby, but its a talent and a form of art.
This project will include interviews from dancers and active dancers performing in my community. It will also include connections to telivision shows that embrace the art of dance. For example...Dancing With the Stars; So You Think you Can Dance; Americas Best Dance Crew. The point of including the shows is to show how dancing has become a nation wide talent and these shows give a respect to the art of dance
The project will include the history of dance. Bringing back roots of how different styles of dancing evolved. It will show how styles of dancing repeat its self, making a connection of how a dance was and than it slightly changes to a more modern style. This part of the project is important so that the viewer's can get an understanding of the dance history and its meaning behind it.
In the end the documentary should have many different parts and should give the viewers a sense of the way dancing make people feel. This will be embraced with the interviews of passionate dancers. The materials need to complete this project is a camera, video camera,a DVD disk, and my laptop with Windows Movie Maker Program. I plan to use my partners digital camera for video recording, but if it doesn't come out as clear as needed, we will used iSight and transfer the footage to my computer.
